We're Excited to Bring XC Racing Back To Peterborough

XC Grass Roots Racing At It's Best!
Accurate Course, Chip Timing & a Reasonable Entry Fee! No T-Shirts, No Frills You Don't Need, No Overpriced Entry Fee! 

Start Times: 10am for the 2km.
10:15am for the 4k/8k (or whenever the 2k is complete so parents can run with their kids in the 2k if they choose.)

THE COURSE: 2km circuit in the Nicholls Oval area - 2k, 4k, & 8k options available. It's all grass and appropriate for spikes if you'd like to wear them. The course isn't technical at all. 
All events are open to all ages but if you're wondering what event might be best for you here's a guide. Keep in mind you're welcome to enter any event you like.
2k - Ideal for kids age 5-10
4k - Ideal for kids 9-15
8k-Ideal for any one aged 14 and up

WHERE: Nicholls Oval - Parking & park entrance off Armour Rd, 725 Armour Rd, Peterborough, ON K9H 2A1
FOOD: Halloween Candy to all kids 13 & under. 
AWARDS: Top male & female overall in each race receive FREE Shoes!. Prizes generously donated by New Balance.
BEST COSTUME AWARDS: Lots of great costume awards. Running in costume is highly recommended.

Are there washrooms on site?

Yes. Portopotti's on site.



What time should I arrive?

About 1 hour prior to race time. You need to park, pick up your timing chip, use facilities, listen to pre-race instructions, and warm up. Time will fly by.

Where should I leave my belongings when I race?

The parking lot is close enough for you to leave all belongings, especially valuables in your car. Once you are finished your run, its close enough to retrieve anything you may need. Please note: there is no secure place for you to keep your belongings at the race site. Organizers are not responsible for your belongings.

Will this event be timed?

Yes, this is a chip timed event. Results will be listed on www.splitstiming.com
